Logos is taking a LONG time to startup on my new MacBook Pro and is also acting like it has nothing running locally or cached. Log attached.
Joel, sorry you are having problems. The first error in your log reads
[quote]03/16/2014 06:42:04 | ERROR | 26 | ResourceUtility | FormatException for saved position: Article=wis-11.6|ArticleLength=2243|Context=k.%20%0a23:3.%20Yahweh%20ren|Offset=762|OffsetInContext=10|Resource=LLS:29.2.5|Version=2007-06-13T23:46:49Z
An almost identical error was reported in Mac Logos 4 crashes after playing opening theme
Could you try holding down the Command key as you launch Logos? Then at the login screen select "open to a blank layout". See if that makes a difference and report the result in this thread. You may have one or more corrupted resources, and this will determine if the problem is caused by a resource and/or a particular layout.
Using a blank layout to bypass the Home page does speed up the system some. Let me do it with logging on.7360.LogosLogs.jatam_000.20140316-081500.zip
Your log contains an error message that has been reported numerous times:

Dylan Rondeau, a Logos employee provided a link to an explanation here—544661.aspx
To which I responded "What is clear to me is that I will not attempt to offer advice when I see that error " Alabama24 indicated that he would not offer advice either. Are you able to contact Logos Tech Support? This may be your best course of action at this point unless Bama has learned something in the interim.
Hopefully someone from Logos can offer a better response.
I was afraid of that.
Does anyone know how to do a catalog rebuild in Mac? I can't find catalog.db.

Recommend contacting Logos => https://www.logos.com/contact
By default, ~/Library folder is hidden, with many ways to see contents => http://www.macworld.com/article/161156/2011/07/view_library_folder_in_lion.html and can assign keyboard shortcut => http://mac.finerthingsin.com/post/7849528212/lion-library-folder-visible
SQLite Error 28 is happening in two folders so one idea is moving both folders to the trash when Logos is not running:
~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/tkvfi8lt.o0t/LibraryCatalog
~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/tkvfi8lt.o0t/LibraryIndex
Launching Logos will cause both folders to be rebuilt. Caveat: deleting Library Index will cause first time indexing, which could take hours. Prudent to have MacBook Pro connected to external power plus use a laptop cooler along with changing System Preferences for Energy Saver so computer does not sleep. If indexing is interrupted, then Logos starts over. Personally would launch Logos offline (to avoid download of one resource causing indexing to start over) plus would index when not planning to use Mac for hours.
Keep Smiling [:)]

Note that the Library folder can be made permanently visible in 10.9—http://www.macworld.com/article/2057221/how-to-view-the-library-folder-in-mavericks.html
