Going from PC to Mac - Logos 4

Hi All,

Wondering if I can get assistance on how to install my current Logos 4 program onto my new Mac Book Pro?

I currently have Logos 4 on my PC, but will no longer be using it. I believe I still have the original Libronix Discs that I installed years ago, but have since upgraded via the net to Logos 4. I also use the program on my iPad and iPhone.

Any help would be very appreciated.

My recommendation would be to install Logos 5 - as opposed to Logos 4 which is very soon going to be unsupported. Upgrading to the new core Logos 5 engine is free - there are a range of chargeable packages available for additional functionality.

To get the free core engine go to https://www.logos.com/installation and select the Mac option which will start the download and installation.

Once Logos 5 is installed log in using your normal credentials and all your resources and documents will be downloaded to you Mac Book (please note this might take some time and use a lot of bandwidth depending on how many resources you have).

(There are ways of removing the need to download again - http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs - but if you are going from Logos 4 to Logos 5 and from PC to Mac I think the easiest option is to just accept the download)

If new Mac Book Pro is running OS X 10.9 Mavericks, recommend installing Logos 5 => https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/install

Logos 5 has new features that need appropriate resources for use; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Upgrade_or_Crossgrade

Any personal books in Logos 4 need the *.lbspbb files copied from Logos 4 and scanned for use in Logos 5 (or copy docx files and rebuild).

Thankful that existing Logos 4 features continue to work in Logos 5.

Personally have a variety of Logos 5, Verbum, and Logos 4 installed on 27" iMac, two Dell laptops, and a Dell Tablet that have different amounts of usage each week. Caveat: Logos 4 and Dell Tablet are only used offline.

I currently have Logos 4 on my PC, but will no longer be using it.

One option is uninstalling Logos 4 on PC.
