How can I copy a verse or several verses without copying the note letters on iPad 2?

You might need to be more descriptive in your request... "iPad 2" is irrelevant. Your version of Logos isn't. You should also tell us what app you are pasting into and what version of iOS you are using, along with the Bible translation. I assume by "note letters," you actually mean the translation notes, right?

I will often "share" a passage to an email... I don't know if that will produce what you want. If not, fill us in on some more details.

Sorry for not putting the appropriate information earlier.

I am running iOS 7.1 and logos app for iPad version 4.1.0.  It doesn't matter what program I try to paste in (mail, pages, etc) I always get the reference verse letters (hit the letter and see the different verses that related to this word or passage).  I don't want the reference letters showing up in my paste.  How do I keep from getting them in my copy?

    Thanks for the help.

Go into Reader View settings and toggle "Bible Text Only" - this will remove the reference links.

Not to sound like an idiot, but where do I find "Reader View settings" ?

I have "home", "Library", "Search" "Read" Documents" "Guides" "Tools" and "Help" as options and cannot find "Reader view" anywhere in any of those.

My fault - I'm so used to using the terminology that I forget others might not be familiar with them.  Reader View refers to the screen when you are already reading a resource (a book).  If you tap once on the screen you'll see an "Aa" item - tapping on that will open the Reader View settings.  Once there, swipe up on the View Settings panel (depending on the size of the device this might not be needed) and toggle Bible Text Only to on.

Note that this setting is resource specific, so if you open a different Bible the setting will not carry over.
