Visual Filter Scheme Suggestion

Does anybody with extensive experience have a suggested scheme for visual filtering? Like imperative= blue, participle=red, etc.

Any solid suggestions you already use?? I do not like to reinvent the wheel. Help anyone?

I've not used them a lot, but I have imperatives in red, participles in green, second person singular with one underline, second person plural with double underline.

I may play around with these even more in the future, but I have found the above to be very helpful at times.
