Copy options

Hi:

I have Logos 5 and have had it for awhile. I am reviewing some of the videos to get the most out of it that I can. The video's indicate that under a sermon or topic starter that I have the option of exporting to a number of places when I hover over the blue bar in a given area. My Logos does not have that option at all. It only gives me the option to close it. Can you tell me what is happening? I have followed the video step by step to make sure I am doing the same thing. My options are not the same.

If I understand you correctly try right-clicking on the blue bar as opposed to hovering.

Does that work? If not, can you please explain a bit more as I'm not sure which videos you are referring to and exactly what they are saying

That is the right place. I have tried to right click and it gives me a couple of options but not at all what the video shows. I can copy but not send to - word i.e....

The video is the one done about creating a sermon or a topic. Thanks

If not, could you provide the link so we can see what it is you're trying to do?

I see in that video that it shows this screen, where you can export a segment of the Sermon Starter Guide to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc. Is that what you're referring to, which you can't replicate in Logos 5?

I can see all the items in that Copy to menu, but I note that this menu is only available in the "THEMATIC OUTLINES" section of the Sermon Starter Guide, and only when you expand one of the subsections therein. And you have to hover over the expanded text in order for that menu to show up. Are you seeing that menu but not all of the options on it that show up in the image above?

If I'm misunderstanding you, in addition to the link to the video which shows what you're trying to do, could you provide a screenshot of what it looks like on your version of Logos? Here's how to post screenshots: http://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot
