It appears you have a corrupt font file at C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/WPF/Fonts/GlobalSansSerif.COMPOSITEFONT
You can search the internet for GlobalSansSerif.COMPOSITEFONT, where I found a conditional download. But it would be safer to replace it from your own system by searching C:\Windows\winsxs\ (the full path on Windows 7 is quite convoluted and it may differ on yours). Alternatively, the font at C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v4.0.30319/WPF/Fonts/GlobalSansSerif.COMPOSITEFONT appears to be the same, so try that.
NB. delete the original file to the recycle bin before replacing it.
Thank you Dave. I hate to reveal my ineptness but I don't know how to do what you say to do. [:D]
I tried searching my computer using the search function and searching for the corrupt file you id. above. I searched OS (C:) with "All subfolders" highlighted above. It found nothing.
Can you give me step-by-step help on this?
Sorry to be a problem, but I do appreciate you and any help you might could give. Thank you again.

Use File Explorer to navigate to C:\Windows\winsxs by copying (Ctrl+C) and pasting (Ctrl+V) the path in bold and then paste the file name GlobalSansSerif.COMPOSITEFONT into the Search bar. It should then start searching (press Enter if it doesn't).
Thank you again Dave.
I did the search and it brought up two files, neither name of which is what you id. above. I'm using Windows 8.1.
The first file name is: C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_wpf-globalsansserifcf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_e2eb3e431718cf1b
The second file name is: C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_netfx4-globalsansserifcf_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_4.0.9600.16384_none_40f79cd282e88813
So I don't know what to do next.
Again, thank you for your help.
The first file name is:
If you right click and select "Open file location" you will see the font file.
Don't forget the other location I gave you as well i.e. C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v4.0.30319/WPF/Fonts/GlobalSansSerif.COMPOSITEFONT
Andrew called in and we got it fixed for him.
Thanks, Tommy.
Thank you very much Dave for your assistance in this. I found I needed a bit more assistance (hand holding?) in getting this completed. May God's blessings in abundance be yours!
Thanks for the feedback, Andrew.
