Alan Jacobs is a scholar of English literature, writer, and literary critic. Since 2012, he has been a distinguished professor of the humanities in the Honors Program of Baylor University. Prior to that he was the Clyde S. Kilby professor of English at Wheaton College, where he taught since 1984.
