Repeated Crashes Shortly After Launch

Earlier today I had the "no books" problem with an iPod Touch (WiFi connections, 32GB capacity with 1.4GB free, OS 3.1.2).

Tonight, after getting my books back and downloading a few for offline reading I can't do anything with the app.  It launches, I get the Logos launch (white background with logo) screen, then briefly 'Downloading Reading Lists' message, then an abend.  If I try to restart the app, sometimes I get nothing but a return to the Home menu of my iPod, sometimes I briefly see the reading lists, sometimes I get the Logos white screen.  But the app never stays active for more than 5-15 seconds.

I will try to delete/reinstall and let you know what happens next.

    My re-installation seems to have helped.  So far I have downloaded one book and the app is stable.  Perhaps the problem was caused by the number of books I downloaded (about five or six, including the NASB95)?

    If the problem occurs again, I will report back.
