NookHD backup data

I have a NookHD and have included many notes in the app. I am concerned that I cannot backup or save this data somewhere so as not to lose it if Nook crashes. Is there a way that I can cloud or backup information to be accessable via my main laptop application.

Yes, if You just connect the Wifi. I have two Nook HD 7" but only use Wifi a few times a year or less. Don't leave the Wifi on, put it in airplane mode after the transfer activity is over.
