Bug(?) Remembering Current Position of the Collection Dropdown List

Sorry all for bring up this very old thread from Logos 4 for Mac and reposting here again in Logos 5.

I am using Logos Bible Software 5.2a (5.2.1.0063)

In Logos 5 for Windows version the collection dropdown list almost always going back to the top of the list; having a list of 300-400 collections and having to navigate down the each time is quite a pain. This is a Windows Bug ... I thought is more appropriate to post here for continuity vs posting a new thread.

The issue on Mac is fixed. However, the current position is always listed as the last item in the drop down list. As per earlier posts, as per originally working version Logos for Windows the "current collection" is positioned somewhere at the centre of the dropdown list, so that it is convenient for people who are reviewing their collections as I have explained earlier.

Can replicate using Logos 5.2a RC 1 on Windows 7:

Scrolling down 339 collections can be a bit tedious.

This has been an inconvenience for too long and I don't have to scroll more than once!

Same problem in the collections dropdown in the Library. In this example, dropdown menu does not scroll to show the currently selected collection (Christ in the OT), but rather goes back up to the top of the list. Pain in the neck to go through all your collections one at a time. Especially when you have pages and pages of them, as I do.

[:)] Thanks for making a case for this. Just to be sure we captured the 2 issues raise here

1. The position of the current collection in the Collections drop down does not appear within the drop down list as per what Rosie and Jack as posted above.

2. In the current Logos 5.2a for Mac while the current collection appears in the drop down list it is always listed as the last item as shown below.

I am suggesting that the current collection should appear somewhere in the middle of the list as below

Justifications:

Libronix works like that and some of us like it
Logos 4 & 5 works like that when it was working on Logos for Windows
If one is navigating and working through the list of collections (For my case, I checked all my dynamic collections to see if it is still correct as some of the matadata information gets changed. I do this once in one to two months)
