Is Logos 5 on Android considering scrolling pages where the grab bar resizes according to page length? Similar to youversion app...

This would be extremely helpful than page turning.

You can scroll with two fingers if you want to adjust the page for highlighting.

People for ask this from time to time, but I cannot figure out why on earth anyone would seriously want it. Sure, if you only want to scroll through the text without actually reading it, I admit that it makes sense. But if that is the case, youversion isn't really ideal either since you can only speed through one chapter at a time. If, on the other hand, you intend to actually read the text, the paged navigation surely must be superior. In stead of having to carefully scroll exactly one page at a time, straining your thumb as you do it, careful not to scroll too far, with Logos, you get moved along exactly the right amount of text, and you can keep reading totally uninterrupted.

I do not have anything against scrolling mode per se, as long as it remains a feature.

    Hi DeWayne,

Just to clarify, Logos 5 refers to the Desktop version that runs on Windows and OS X.  The mobile versions of Logos that run on Android and iOS are not equivalent to Logos 5.

    Sakarias,

Thank You!  Understand your thoughts here.  I'm reading a book on the Samsung Note 3 for class.  When highlighting and taking notes, they crossover 2 pages. So it becomes 2 notes instead of 1.  Now I can adjust the page with 2 fingers so this is awesome.

Also I am a programmer and bible student.  I also have keratoconus, which is like seeing 12 of everything with moving drop shadows.  Amazing since starting to dwell in The Word 2 years ago,  my brain can now read all day (instead of only 4 hours) and I only see 1 font now with a moving drop shadow.  So I see The Word in 3D.  (Which means it really comes to life quicker for me than most. ROFL j/k )  But it really is kewl how God allows me to study longer since I started obeying. :-)

But thanks again my favorite technique is scrolling as well.  It also allows me to use top border of the screen like a finger to hold position.  I'd have to show you that cause you'd be blown away how it helps me.

    THANKS AGAIN!

Kevin, Thank you for clarifying the app vs software.
