...or should I say "reason-less" reviews, because at least as far as I'm concerned, a starred review that isn't supported with a written "wherefore" explanation is almost worse than no review at all. I really tend to view non-verbalized reviews with suspicion. Amazon has taught me that bit of discretion. I would love to see Logos erase all current star-only reviews and also implement a system that won't post a review unless at least 250 (or thereabouts) characters are submitted in the text box when the post is submitted. In my mind, this goes equally for 5-star reviews as it does 1-star reviews. None are worth a plug nickel without a rationale attached. Also, anyone who is obviously jinking the system (by posting 250 ..............................., for instance) would be deleted as well.
