yeah I got 146 updates. Thank goodness for high speed cable. It only took the time from my first post to now. Thanks too Logos.

Either the Atlantic cable wasn't too overloaded, or the link amazonavs uses was prioritised, but my new purchase: Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary Old Testament downloaded fairly quickly and I don't know the exact download speed of the connection I used for this tonight (time was around half past midnight) but it can't be all that high and I doubt the local connection has been upgraded to GSM 4G (the local connection is cellular):
