No Dictionary Support?

It seems that only certain bibles (King James only?) have dictionary support but not all.  I am currently using the AMP bible as my preferred bible.  This option is grayed out when performing a word study.  Not knowing how things link/relate to each other, I'm not sure how to remedy this.

Also, when highlighting a word, nothing comes up when INFO is selected.  Again, when I use the King James version, information is populated here.  Is this a known issue or am I missing somehing here?

Thanks

Hi Chris - and welcome to the forums

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "dictionary support".

Do you mean the "Definition" area in a Bible Word Study or something else? Can you provide the steps you are taking?

Also, when highlighting a word, nothing comes up when INFO is selected

Do you mean that you are selecting a word and selecting "info" from the popup window?

If so, this information is provided from extra layers of information included in "reverse interlinears" of some Bibles such as the King James (and ESV, NRSV, NIV, NASB, LEB and others) but not in the AMP

Thanks, glad to be here.  Yes, when I refer to dictionary support, I am referring to the workflow you are describing.  I am not seeing anything in the Definition area in a Bible Word Study session.  It's greyed out.  As an FYI, I am only just starting with the Logos software and have not purchased one of the packages yet.  Does this make a difference?

I do understand the latter response regarding "reverse interlinears." That is what I expected.  Thank you.

    Yes it does

To get some of the Logos functionality you need a base package or one of the minimum crossgrades

Access to the Definition section on BWS on mobile devices is one of these
