I am truly sorry to hear about this! It is not normal. We can try to help if you will let us:
Please enable Logging using the link which Lynden posted.
load Logos and let it crash. Do not restart Logos until you've moved or uploaded your logs. (Logos rewrites logs when it starts).
Then upload your logs preferably all of them in a compressed file ( http://wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs ) so we can take a look.

It looks from your earlier posts like you're on Mac? If so, there's a good chance your problem is solved in 5.2a, which will probably be released on the stable channel very soon. In the meantime, I would recommend not letting your computer go to sleep with Logos open.
