I recently cross-graded to Verbum and need help in removing Logos 5 in my MacBook Air and the associated file to make room for other stuff I need to do. It seems that "deleting" the app doesn't do the trick.

Just for clarification that is in you USER library folder starting with Lion this folder is hidden by default. To easily get to it hold the option key down and click the Go menu in the finder. About halfway down you should see Library (you can always hold the option key down after the click to, just needs to be held down while selection is being made).

Thanks, Mike and Dan....worked! I just freed up 25gb of space.
Or next time you could just use app zapper, it is free for the first ten. All you do is open it up and drag and drop the apps you want deleted and just like that they are gone and all the strings attached to them. Thus giving you the maximum space needed. Sometimes all the files attached to the app lay hidden and you don't get back all the space.
