frame freezing

When I am using split screen, I have experienced that one of them "freezes."  I cannot do anything on that side.  In my case, I am in low light mode.  The letters appear gray-ish and I cannot turn pages, or anything.  what I can do is use the other side and click on a verse/jump to reference and the "frozen side changes to that, but it still is "frozen." closing and reopening doesn't do it.  or at least not in a shorter period.  I have shut my ipad down and restarted, and things work.  While I didn't pay attention to exactly what I was doing when it froze, I think that behavior happened after a couple of differing operational moves, ie, i was not doing the same thing.

I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

What device and iOS version, and which app and version are you using?

I experienced the same thing Sunday. I inquired about it here- http://community.logos.com/forums/t/82914.aspx

but apparently didn't make myself clear.

I was using the split screen on my iPad Air, with the ESV in the top and the Lexham Gk SBL in the bottom window. Neither resource was downloaded to my device, so I chalked it up to bandwidth at my church. I've downloaded them and will try again next week.

The bigger question I had was, can I stop that spinning pizza so I can move on with the app? I didn't really get a clear answer, other than to try downloading the resources, on my OP.

Did you try killing the app via the multitask bar?

ipad2, version 4.1.1 . . . for Logos.  I could be mistaken, but I think it happened on Verbum too?  I don't remember, sorry.  I used both and switch back and forth a bit.  I know it has happened a handful of times in the last few days.

No, I haven't figured out how to do that yet. (iPad is brand new to me.)

double tap the physical, center button. If you are running the latest version of iOS, then swipe away the thumbnail.
