New Flashcard App Discombobulation

I downloaded the flashcard app; it is a GREAT idea.

However, the word shown on the front of the card doesn't match the answer on the back, and the pronounce button is not pronouncing the word on the front in Greek.

For example, one card (I made a word list from 1 John) says in Greek-

     tois ophthalmois

The pronunciation button says "ho".

The back of the card says "the".  At least the pronunciation matches the answer.

Perhaps this is an artifact of the pronunciation only wanting to pronounce the root of a word, and picking the first word in the string for the root?

Double check document in Logos desktop that the card front matches the lemma and card back as you expect. The pronunciation comes from the lemma.

I'm just guessing here, but are you making the word list from a reverse interlinear? Otherwise, I can't imagine why it is joining two lemmas on one card. Try making your list from a morph-tagged Greek Bible.

Good question. I don't remember. I went to the menu and chose word list...I'm not sure I even considered what source I was using.

The pronunciation comes from the lemma.

That was one of the things I suspected. This was a disappointment when it came out...I was hoping to be able to hear the pronunciation of the actual text rather than simply the lemmas. I hope this can be remedied in a future release.
