Algorithm in New Flashcard App
Anyone know what is meant by "Algorithm: Spaced Repetition" in the settings of the new flashcard app?

It's a more efficient way of rehearsing flashcards. According to how you self-rate you're ability to recall a card the frequency with which it reappears when going through the deck on repeated times is changed. See

So why does the order not seem to be changing for me? I have a 200 card deck - Do I need to work through all of them a certain number of times before this algorithm begins affecting the order/frequency? It seems odd that it always starts with the same card.

The newest beta included the ability to start where you last left off. Prior to that, it always began at the start of the list.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Yes. I don't know exactly which variation of the algorithm they are using, but you do have to go through every card and rank it before you will see any change in order. You can observe this by creating a smaller list of 8-10 cards and giving them different rankings as you go through them. You will see, for instance, that all the cards you "miss" will come up again before you see the ones you "got" again. I too would love to know more about the algorithm being used.

I have been accepted into the group, but still can't access the beta opt-in link.

It looks like you have to use the opt-in link from your phone rather than a computer. Everything works now.
Thank you to everyone for your help!
