Highlighting problem

I'm using Logos (build #4.1.10 (build 224) on a newer Kindle Fire (the 2013 version). Until recently, I've been able to highlight with no problem.

Just recently, I've noticed that the little blue tabs flash on and disappear when I press on a word. Then I can only highlight ONE word when I want to highlight a whole sentence (or more). Did I miss an upgrade?

The latest upgrades to the Android app has interested a new "swipe to highlight" feature and some people are finding some issues with sensitivity on their devices.

Does disabling "swipe to highlight" in the settings menu help?
