L4 crashes

When adding this note to Philippians 2:6, from my sermons file, L4 crashes. I can add other notes, some with Bible references, and it works fine. Also, after adding a number of notes to Philippians 2:7, I added the note below to Phil. 2:7 only to have L4 crash again. It has something to do with this note. Any ideas?

The Complete Word Study Dictionary – Jesus continued to be in the form of God, which is what He was before He became man and had always been, for in essence He has always been God. His divine existence in relation to the world is indicated by the phrase, He "thought it not robbery to be equal with God" as He was God among men. He was always God (John 1:1), and He became flesh (John 1:14), and thus on earth He was the God–Man. In fashion, outer appearance, He was man. In essence, form, He was God.

Hi, can you describe your sermon file? To figure out why it is crashing we will need some logs - http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging. Please include the steps you took as clear and descriptive as possible to reproduce this crash.

I have a note file titled Bible Study where I have added various notes to many verses. Kind of like a running commentary. The file I am copying from is a group of my sermons that I have imported using Sermon Builder in L3.

Dan, it looks to me like some internal codes are trying to be copied that L4 can't handle, probably a reference hyperlink, or a formatting code.

What happens if you paste unformatted into MS Word (or equivalent), or even Notepad for that matter, and then copy paste from there into your note. Does that work?

If it worked, it probably means that there are hidden codes in the old sermon file format still present within L4, but the L4 Notes can't handle those codes. Until L4 redoes the sermon file add-in, you'll have to use the kludge described above to copy/paste into your notes (unless there are no codes - but since they're hidden, you may not be able to tell).
