Just read this very thought provocative article in the NYTimes:

Thanks for sharing.... no comment here but glad to read the article.

Well, hit me with a stick (old southern talk).
'Consider, as a case study, the data on divorce. Earlier this year, a pair of demographers released a study showing that regions with heavy populations of conservative Protestants had higher-than-average divorce rates, even when controlling for poverty and race.' [from article above]
Now where is TC when the going's getting bad. Real bad. Well, it turns out (the importance of nutty ladies not copying out of context) that less-than-twice-a-month Christians are the big problem. That'd be every-other-week Christians.
I hate to even think about where this logic goes next. It's too amazing.

Um. TC?
My usual abbreviation translator gives 301 possibilities.[8-|]
I thought it was obvious that Denise meant Tom Cruise, Mr. Mission: Impossible himself. [~]
Denise, thank you for giving me a reason to cross another emoticon off my "used in the heat of battle" list.
Now, if I could only find a use for [}] and [{] and [mo] my list would almost be completed. Hey! Lookie there! And "no" that isn't cheating. [6]
DONE!!!

TC (Tom) ... that was you that pointed out, the more conservative, the lower the divorce rate. Though the article doesn't quite want to run with it. Tom Cruise? I'm trying to remember if he was the jump-over-the-sofa scientologist guy.
