Exporting notes so they are not un-truncated?

I like to take notes on commentaries and books so i can then copy the highlights / notes into word file.

At the moment when I note a book the note is truncated into the title section. Not showing the full content i want.

Can this be fixed, so i can then export into word and use the information I have highlighted.

For this purpose, I usually copy the highlighted information into the body of the note, and make the title something descriptive. Then, the full bibliographic information appears in the Word document.

Thanks Jack I didn't realise that biographical information. That is helpful, especially if you are making a note for from lots of books.

Buts its a pain if all you are doing is taking notes from one book. I like to make summary notes of books I read and to copy past each quote is as effective as just copy pasting it into word.

I know when using the iPad it automatically doesn't un-tracate, I wish this was the case for the desktop software. It would be such a powerful tool!

FYI, Logos considers the desktop behaviour 'by design', and the iPad behaviour a 'bug' or an 'unimplemented feature'.

I like to make summary notes of books I read and to copy past each quote is as effective as just copy pasting it into word.

Mostly, I paste directly into Word without bothering to use the Logos note feature. If I were going to use the note feature to accumulate notes prior to transferring them into Word, I would paste the highlighted information into the note with an appropriate title. Then, I would make my summary comments after the bibliographic info.

One advantage to pasting directly into Word is automatic footnotes.
