Last night I was listening to NPR radio when they aired an amusing story about office food thieves. In the story, they interviewed an admitted fridge thief from a "Bible software company in Bellingham, Washington." That can be none other than Logos! I first experienced food theft in Junior High School (Fern Bacon Junior High, Sacramento, CA) - my lunch was being taken from my locker while I had it open to get my afternoon books out for use. My parents and I had the idea of filling my lunch sack with some old wooden blocks wrapped in cellophane liked sandwiches, etc. My lunch was taken only one more time. I'm probably lucky I did not get clobbered by someone who did not think it was so sweet - but that was 50 years ago and it was a different climate and attitude than today.

I suspect that one could get away with it at LOGOS and be safe - if any one is looking for a way to handle the problem.

This did not happen at Logos but:

At my husband's work several years ago, a male co-worker went into the work fridge & starting gulping some milk; can't remember if it was labeled or not. Turns out, it was the breast milk that a female co-worker had just expressed and was going to deliver to her baby's child care. The guy was doing it nonchalantly in front of some other people who knew what he was drinking & told him- he about puked right there. Meanwhile, Mom was pretty ticked off! Don't blame her!

NOTE to scavengers... gleanings much be picked up and consumed b4 they go bad.. NOTE to generous person who left it... please toss out after best before date is a couple weeks old, after that point you've just left a trap....
