Change Highlight From Brown To Yellow

How can change my highlight from brown to another color?

For example, if I were to look up the word "Daniel" in the Old Testament of the NKJV. All of the hits for "Daniel" appear in brown, but I would like another color or maybe none at all. I realize that my question is basic, but I chose brown so long ago that I cannot remember how to change the color.

I assume you mean the highlights showing search results as below

I don't believe there is any way to change this colour.

Logos chooses different highlight colors for multiple search terms, so for example:

There's no way to change the search hits colors.

If you don't want the search hits to be highlighted anymore in the resources those terms were found in, currently the only way to do that is to close the Search tab.

There is an active request to be able to turn off search hit highlighting via the Visual Filters menu. You might want to vote for that:

Hey John!

One suggestion: When you are responding to someone, use the "quote" feature. You can press the button and quote everything, or select a passage and then hit "quote" to choose just a single part. Reading your four replies above, I am very confused about what you are wanting to do!

It seems that you were responding to Graham with this quote... but he was NOT talking about "manually created" highlights. When you perform a search, text is "highlighted," but you didn't create a "highlight." I know that may sound confusing.

When you create a "highlight," you create a "note." It will continue to exist until you delete it.
When you search for a word, Logos "highlights" the word in the resource to help you find what you were looking for... but a "note" is not created and the "highlight" will disappear when you close the search box (or search for something else).

If you are wanting to change the color of a highlight as described in #1, then you must open the note folder to the actual note (See screen shot below). To change the highlight color, click on the box to the left of the note (shown here as a white box with a red diagonal line).

NOTE: Changing highlighting styles is MUCH easier on an iPad.
