I don't have much experience with working my way through Lent devotionals but this year I decided to give this resource a try - https://www.logos.com/product/40693/lenten-grace-daily-gospel-reflections
My simple question is does anyone know why each Sunday there are three devotionals (A, B, C)? Is there for three different times of the day or for different years or something else?
Yep, Catholic lectionary has three different cycles of readings for Sundays (Year A/B/C), and two different cycles of readings for the weekdays (Year 1/2). We're in Year A/Year 2. I think that the Lenten Grace book has been just great so far, and I will most likely pick up the rest of the collection at some point.
Thanks Brian. Not being from a Catholic or liturgical tradition it was not clear to me.
One more reason I would like to see Logos offer a lectionary as a value-added for a resource such as this; reading plans are appropriate for other resources.
