I would like more pictures in Logos, or media resources with a lot of pictures.
Espacially maps and charts and everything related to biblical culture etc.
Johannes are you aware of the minimum crossgrade: https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=minimum+crossgrade
It has lots of media resources.
Lynden, thank you for pointing that out.
I do own the resource (and quite some more), and I do have a lot of pictures in my Logos library, it is just that I would like to have a "pictures bundle" or something. I find pictures very usefull (and it is probably the child in me still preferring images above words)
Well, Johannes didn't really specify 'color' pictures. I have the two minimal crossgrades and 21 volumes of pictures. But 18 are oldies (BW). 1 is drawings in color. Good for lessons/sermons maybe. And that leaves two, one essentially 'objects' and the other 'places'
On both the objects and places, the zoom resolution is poor (I'm comparing to A-Company media). I don't know if its the images themselves (JPG?, etc) or the software. Plus the images are pretty randomized ... a little of this, a little of that.
I'd like to say, well, maybe resources (3rd party), but even that is catch-as-can ... the various atlases, dictionaries, etc many of which are decades old and decades old resolution.
I guess I'm so enamored with the A-Company offering (who's penchant for expertise is text analysis, not media). The temple images are immaculate, location pictures high resolution for closely examinig details, objects ditto. They have a 'museum' volume that I'm not even sure how they managed to get permission. Then there's Carta which we've all discussed over and over.
I don't really understand Logos since the engine is image oriented (thus requiring lots of coding for text). And the audience is 'teaching'. I'd assume the newer markets (Catholic, etc) are VERY image oriented.
Somewhat of a mystery.
OT: I tried to re-tag my image resources to split them into BW and color. Whoever designed and coded this really ought to be forced at stylus-point to use their own work. It makes it really difficult for Logosians to suggest the constant work-arounds.

If you don’t already have them, I would recommend Deluxe Then and Now Bible Maps and Rose Then and Now Bible Map Atlas with Biblical Background and Culture along with the Baker Illustrated Reference Collection (4 vols.), The Baker Illustrated Bible Dictionary, and the soon to be released Baker Illustrated Guide to Everyday Life in Bible Times.
