Why is it just fo Iphone???
Could we expect this app also for Android or Windows Mobile, or even Symbian???
There are much more people that uses one of these 3 brands rather than Iphones. In my country (Brasil) just rich people can buy Iphones, they are extremely expensive. Please, tell us that you guys from Logos are also thinking about the users of other brands!!!

I would like to see this for Windows Mobile as I do not use a cell phone but I do use a nice old Dell PDA every day and it runs Windows Mobile.

I would say there are a couple of reasons why it is phone based presently
Its very easy to develop for and easy to distrabute and only has to support i set of hardware.
W mobile and android have to support multiple hardware and is not as easy for a developer to create.
The iphone is also v popular and been round alot longer than android. obviously this is not true for W Mobile
For a developer it is always best to get your app out on a single platform first and then develop for others
A good example is Logos for Windows and OS X comes later

Well, I'm not a developer, so I don't know about the difficulties. But I don't think this should stop Logos, or anyone to think about people who prefer another brands.
There are already so many applications for other devices, so it means somebody did it, isn't it? So, the difficulties never stop anyone to develop technologies to make the life easier for us.

That might be true, but only in the US.
In Brasil, only rich people can get Iphones. But the other brands are much more affordable.
Even here in Paris where I'm living right now, it is much more expensive to get an Iphone, and I hardly see somebody using one.

Yes, I hope thats what they are doing.
I know that even Iphones still don't have Logos for offline use, and thats my interest. As they are working to make it available for Iphone, let them also make it available for the other brands too. That is my request, and I'm sure, the request of hundreds of other bible students.

I know Logos is running to make their software available offline for Iphone. So my interest is to have Logos offline, since as a missionary, I'm often in places where there is no network coverage.
As they are running to make it available for Iphone, let them make it available also for Black Berry, Android, WM, Symbian, etc...
I would pay for it.

On-line access is a good start and I can understand the iPhone for the USA, but the rest of the world uses Symbian OS more than any other mobile OS, and now it is open source software so development shouldn't be a problem (except time of course). It would also be good to have logos on Linux, it could then be ported more easily to Android and maemo (Nokia linux)

This questions and the answer needs to be added to the FAQ as it gets asked about once every few days it seems. Although I doubt it would keep it from getting asked repeatedly. But if it saves one poor soul the time, it would be a help.
