When I use the read aloud feature I can't scroll without it messing up the audio.. It wants to play whatever I scroll too and if I don't scroll I'm left behind by the narrator!
Hi Barton,
Scrolling the resource while it is reading and the location where it is reading is expected behavior as the reader takes its cues from the active index and if the active index changes then the reader location will as well. However, the resource not progressing visually as the audio does is not expected behavior. I haven't been able to replicate the behavior. What resource is this happening to you with, and where?
Edit: I'm unable to replicate the behavior in "normal view" I have experienced what you describe in Reading View. Are you in Reading View when this happens?
I'm reading in the normal view and the book is Counterfeit Miracles. What happens is it will fail to scroll the text once the reading goes off the page. To follow along I will scroll down but then it immediately changes its reading position... At least 4 times the reading stopped and I had to re-open it.
Tommy,
I just used the read aloud on my bible and it worked much different than it did on the resource I had open. That is, it seems to work fine on my NASB Bible but does not work on my resource: Counterfeit Miracles.
I tried what you're doing with that resource and it pushes the page down to view the text that was not on-screen just fine. Can you let me know where you are in the book and send me the support info that can be found by hitting the "i" icon on the top right of the resource panel, and scrolling to the bottom of the page.

I updated LOGOs and it still won't work properly. Thank you for your help.
It works but with great lag (sometimes 5 minutes before updating the page). However, when I go into reading view, there is only a minor lag (no longer than 20 seconds).
I think this will be easier to troubleshoot over the phone. Can you call us at your earliest convenience? 800-875-6467. Thanks.
