Bug 5.2a SR-1: strange thing comes up in ESV

1. Bring up ESV

2. Type a BIble reference like Acts 24:1 (this is just used to set the reference to something different than the test case)

3. Close ESV

4. Open ESV - should come up to Acts 24;1.

5. HIghlight the "Acts 24:1", and type Ps122

You get this, with the extra title-9 in the title:

It's not just Ps 122, and it's not just the ESV.

E g, gen50 gives a dropdown with Genesis 50, but gen1 gives a dropdown with Genesis 1:1-31. Inconsistent to say the least.

I believe it used to show both, and default to chapter only. And I'm pretty certain it also used to show several pericope options, which now it does not.

I see the same thing but I think it's because the ESV supports seleecting a Psalm "title" and it is simply showing you the range of "title + verses" in the Psalm

You get something similar if you type Acts 24 (but in this case there isn't a title)

The "Psalm#:title-#" behavior is by design (as Graham suggested), as the bible data type supports special verses like Psalm titles.

E g, gen50 gives a dropdown with Genesis 50, but gen1 gives a dropdown with Genesis 1:1-31. Inconsistent to say the least.

I believe this is a different issue, and I'll make a case to investigate.
