Bible Facts Tool - Logos 5

I just upgraded from Logos 4 to 5 today. So far seems easy enough, but I was trying to use the Bible Facts tool and it doesn't do anything.

When I click on "Bible Facts" in the "Tools" drop down, it opens a pop out window and gives me a search bar but no matter what I type in there the window is blank except for "No Illustrations Available" in the middle.

Can anyone help with this?

Welcome to the forums.

It's been a while since I updated, but I'm fairly certain that after you've done the program update, there should be a second download with some updated resources and databases, including Bible Facts. The update should happen automatically, but if it doesn't, type update resources in the command box and hit Enter. (Provided, of course, you had Biblical Places etc in L4, or bought a base package now).

As I dig deeper I realize I don't have the timeline tool either. It's like I didn't get the complete download.

I have the Bronze version.

Some of the tools are not available in versions less than Gold. I'm not sure which ones.

I think some of them got 'grandfathered' from earlier much lower packages. All I have is an old OL package, and the 2 crossgrades. And I have all the tools. Maybe they kind of 'inflated'.

You should have the Timeline and Bible Facts tools (Events, People, Places, Things) with Logos 5 Bronze. You should also have tools like Passage Analysis and Pronunciation(Greek), together with Syntax Search.

Try update resources in the Command box at the top of the Logos window, or restarting Logos (you may have been affected by a recent server problem). That failing, contact Customer Services.
