What a nightmare.
I was using my Surface Pro Original (some of you will stop reading or laugh saying not this again) in church during the sermon and trying to highlight something interesting in one of my commentaries when all of a sudden the text to speech editor came on - despite my having the volume off on the Tablet completely - and started reading text (which I think was The Bible). It wouldn't highlight and yet the audio Bible began in Logos...go figure.
Maddening and embarrassed, I ran out to the back of the church and had to shut the Surface down completely to get the - yup I am going to say it - suddenly possessed machine to stop.
I cannot reproduce this combination again but Sunday morning in the middle of the sermon...My Surface decided to have a little fun.
One or two wondered why I had left so suddenly and my Pastor said "That Surface really seems to be a problem for you...you should consider just bringing a printed Bible with you." I am inclined to agree. Sigh.
no way to make sure Logos doesn't have any unexpected audio hiccups in the middle of the sermon in my pew, right?
