Sharing a Notes Document

Hello,

I have a notes Document that I use for recording my personal Bible study notes. I'd like to share it with my wife, and I have created a group for us in Faithlife and shared the document. When I go to Faithlife online under her account, I can see the notes file under Documents. But when I open Logos or Faithlife on her iPad, I don't see the file anywhere. Is there any way to get the notes to sink with her Logos app so she has visibility of the notes as she is reading the Bible in her Logos account?

Hi Paul,

When you go to the group in Faithlife you need to be logged in to your wife's account. Then go to the documents tab, click or tap if your on the iPad on the note file line. A blue button that says Actions will show-up, tap that and save a copy. You many need to re-start the app but it should sync shortly to your wife's iPad.

That worked great. Thank you! So the only way to provide her with any new notes or updated notes from that file is to have her save another private copy and delete the old one correct?

If you set the document to Collaborate with your group, she can then "Connect" to it instead of copying it, and you will both have live-edit and automatic synchronization of the document.
