PBBs are really handy, but it's a pity that in order to distribute them, one must pass on docx files. Why not have it so that once it is compiled, it can be retrieved and shared as a single file?
You can do this - if you find the .lbspbb file that is built from the compile, located in the Resources folder, you can pass that on (legally of course), and then the recipient puts it in a folder that you do a Scan <folder> from the command box, close Logos, then restart. I do this all the time sharing lbspbb's in a Dropbox folder between my 2 Logos computers, so I don't have to compile on both.
Good to know. Thanks! Say, I looked for it and found it with a weird long name. Is it possible to rename the file (leaving the extension unchanged of course) or will it affect functionality?

Sadly not, that will mess things up if you rename it. The easiest way to to compile, then go into your resources folder, sort by date, and see what file changed. Or, hit the "info" 'i' icon in a circle over top of the displayed resource inside Logos, scroll to the bottom, and gather the filename there.
What I do, is keep a copy of all my .lbspbb's in a dropbox folder. Then I use Beyond Compare to simply to a compare of my installation Resources folder, filtered for .lbspbb, and the Dropbox folder, so it can then easily synchronize what has changed. That way, I can compile resources, do work, etc., and then whenever I want syncrhonize. Once that is done, on your other computer/laptop or wherever you have Logos installed, just do a 'Scan' of the dropbox folder, close Logos, restart, and everything is updated.
Yes, but you already have the metadata on both, since that syncs. I doubt it would work for someone else.
I didn't see where Francis was talking about using with someone else. You are right fgh, metadata won't sync to another account.
