BUG - No verse numbers when right-click copying text in Job 5 (ESV)

Can anyone reproduce this issue . . .

Select the first few verses of Job 5 (ESV) to copy and paste - sure to include the chapter number with the text. When I right-click to copy the verses, the verse numbers for the selected verses do not appear (see below). The same issue does not reoccur with other chapters.

It's not the paste result, but the absence of verse numbers in the context menu "Reference".

OK, the same occurs here too. The verse numbers are also missing when I use the NIV 2011.

Good observation. By "pericope" are you referring to the editor's section title?

I looked tried to reproduce this in other books (chapters without a title are pretty rare). Below are a few results that I've found for chapters that do not have the titles. Hope if may offer some insights and save the folks at Logos time if they look into it:

Ezekiel 3 and 39 - I wasn't able to reproduce the issue.
Isaiah 4 - issue reproduced
Isaiah 10 issue reproduced
Isaiah 16 - I wasn't able to reproduce the issue.

I am able to reproduce this as well.

However this behavior has been determined "by design" since there is a milestone ("Job 5") immediately preceding the chapter number. You can workaround this by starting your selection at "Call now" (don't include the "5"). This will affect all the chapters that have a milestone before the chapter number.

A little more explanation, please. The implication is that a chapter milestone does not precede every chapter number, or that the milestone is not applied to every chapter (why?).

Here is an explanation from the case:

When chapter numbers have a pericope heading before 1:1, the chapter milestone would precede that and thus won't be in the selection. When the milestone immediately precedes the chapter number (i.e. there is no pericope before the chapter number) you get this behavior.

KS4J got it earlier. Having the pericope between the chapter number and the milestone prevents this behavior, and is consistent with the current design.
