With Logos 4, are all the temporary files removed after they are installed? Or do the download files accumulate somewhere taking up unneeded disk space? In other words, does Logos 4 handle garbage collection over time?
Floyd
Floyd,
Good question. I ran a scan of my hard drives with Advanced System Care after installing and found no temporary files from the past 2 hours. That would indicate that it has cleaned up after itself unlike my teenagers and twenty-somethings

The software update files are deleted after installation has completed (at \Logos4\Data\{random}\UpdateManager\Installers).
The original software installation files are kept.
Resource downloads are moved thru a couple of folders before ending up in \Resources.
Index build files are deleted after creating the new structure.
Nothing accumulates.
Dave is right.
