Logos does already carry three books by John Stackhouse, but I'd like to see more of his works:
[Y] Well presented; good writer. Balanced. And very apt subjects to us 'non-professionals' as Piper likes to say.
And (is it possible ... we see a lot of BC plates down here but always wonder who's inside??) ... Canadian!
Yes, yes, yes!
For those who wonder:
Stackhouse did a wonderful job presenting the "generic evangelicalism" view in https://www.logos.com/product/26707/four-views-on-the-spectrum-of-evangelicalism (set against Kevin Bauder, Al Mohler and Roger Olson).
His contribution to this book gave me the confidence in this author to buy Evangelical Ecclesiology: Reality or Illusion? in paper (currently locked in a Baker bundle).
The third one is his short contribution to the gender debate (locked in - another - Baker bundle as well), which I don't know but Amazon's look into and the reviews sound interesting.
And, @Rosie: my hopes for a quick implementation of your suggestion (maybe in Vyrso?) notwithstanding, I couldn't help throwing ten Euros into a South American river for the one you recommended twice [:)] - so far, after intro and one and a half chapters, a great read that spans the question much wider than usual. Thanks!
John Stackhouse
I hope Logos does get this one right:
John Stackhouse = John G. Stackhouse = John Gordon Stackhouse = John G. Stackhouse, jr.
