Can I add notes to WORDS which will appear when I hover over them.

Does Logos have a function which will allow me to create a note for an individual word without creating a "postem note" in the text. I find a text full of postem notes very distracting. The note would appear when I hover over the word which has been tagged. I'm working through Ab Urbe Condita, and want to enter a specific translation for a word in the text, and perhaps a grammatical analysis, without cluttering the text with icons.

The simple answer, to do what you want to do without a note icon: No. 

However: you can 1) choose a different note icon that you find less distracting and you can 2) toggle the notes on and off, so you can see the note icons in the text at certain times but not others.
