I did the latest download and indexing. But when I do a search I still sections for "new resources" and "library results"
Shouldn't I only get one set of results?
I got that same kind of result from the Windows version. I guess all that indexing did not merge indexes (indices ?).
That seems odd since it did a complete reindex not to merge them. Logos team, is this a bug or SOP?
Merging indexes will happen if the supplemental index contains more than 1/4 the number of resources that the main index contains. For example, if you have 1000 resources in your main index, the indexes will be merged if you add 251 resources to your supplemental indexes, or unless you issue "merge indexes" from the command bar.
Okay, I was assuming that since there was a new "bible only" index that all this would take place when I downloaded A9 regardless of the percentage of change. At least I understand what is happening and the process is normal. Thanks!
