Logos 4 & 5 Very SLOWWWWWWWWW !!!

Why is your software so slow? I have just installed Windows 7 64-bit on a quad-core machine with 8 GB of RAM, and your software is so very slowwwwww !!!

Could it be the language it is written in? Or could it be the programmers who do not program it to be faster?

I don't know, but all I know is from a user's experience, and it is extremely SLOWWWWWW !!!

This poster posted one other time, virtually the same post almost two years ago. He got about 18 replies in offers/suggestions to help, and never replied. He is either a spammer, uses the forums very little, or is not interested in help.

Bob if you are interested in help, can you be more specific - speeds, graphic card, disk config, what you are trying to do, how long it takes to do it?

I suspect there will be no reply.

Why is your software so slow?

Please provide example(s) what is so slow so other Logos users and employees can try to replicate. Also aware other software can slow down Logos: e.g. anti-malware real time scanning.

Please provide more hardware details. Quad-core is not enough; noticed 32-bit single core benchmark scores for "(4 cores)" ranges from 657 to 3730 => http://browser.primatelabs.com/processor-benchmarks

Logos 4 and 5 are resource intensive applications that benefit from fast processor, graphics, and quick storage along with adequate memory; Solid State Disk (SSD) is noticeably faster than hard disk.
