Hi,
I noticed that it takes about 20 to 30 Seconds to Load the first Resource On Logos for Mac vs 1 to 2 Seconds on Logos for Windows - 5.2a SR-1. For my test I am using the Lexham Bible Guide: Genesis 12-50.
To provide the context of my environment:
13 Seconds - Power On to Login Screen
20 Seconds - Start Logos with Blank Layout
40 Seconds - Load Home page (depends on what is loaded)
(1) To Load a Single Resource (Lexham Bible Guide:Genesis 12-50) from Home Page takes
20+ Seconds with spinning wheel, for Logos for Windows it takes 1-2 seconds running on Parallels Windows 8.1 VM on the same machine.
(2) Run Passage Guide from Home Page (Prior to loading any resources) takes 23 Seconds:
- Passage Guide Report (Only Commentaries section opened)
- Five Bibles Opened (ESV, NASB95, NETBible, KJV, Tanakh)
- Lexham Bible Guide Genesis 12-50 Opened
Can Logos 5 for Mac loads the first resource faster? Thank you.
PS: Subsequent loading of Resources takes about 1-2 Seconds
