Is there a way to change the display of text on the iPad from two columns to one column?

    Welcome to the forums.

    Swipe down to show the toolbar at the top of the screen. Choose the "Aa" icon for View Settings. There you will find a Columns setting, with options of Auto, 1, 2 and 3.

    The other way to do it (if the Column setting is on Auto) is to have two resources open rather than one. This is achieved by dragging the little grey blob in one of the bottom corners towards the middle of the screen width.
