Visual Filters Not Working.

I posted in another thread but I think my issue is different.

I made a visual filter for Hebrews. It won't show as a visual filter from the pull down menu. I went out, went back it, and it still is not there. I see the file under visual filters, but it won't sync and come up on the NASB Bible.

Any ideas?

In addition to some of my VFs not syncing, I'm having the same problem as well. I also found today that some of my custom highlighting tools made for my VFs aren't syncing either.

I'm pretty sure my issues and Cynthia's are related, even if the primary problem is anthropoid interface malfunction.

In addition to some of my VFs not syncing, I'm having the same problem as well. I also found today that some of my custom highlighting tools made for my VFs aren't syncing either.

PROBLEM SOLVED: The cause of my VF problem was some custom highlighters that were not syncing correctly.

For some reason, the custom highlighters I created did not sync from my office computer, where I created them, to my other computers. As a result, the VFs that used the highlights were not available in my resources because they didn't have the correct highlights to use.

The solution was to rename my VisualMarkup folder and restart Logos 5 (which forced it to go to the server and get a new copy of the VisualMarkup folder). The new custom highlighters were then available on the computer, which meant the VFs that had not been available were suddenly there and working correctly.

Big thanks to Logos tech support for fixing this. (He had to have me remote to my home computer via GoToMyPC.com so he could work there, through my office computer into which he had a remote session established...ain't technology wonderful!).

[NB: For anyone who needs to get to that VisualMarkup folder to do what I did, here's how- right-click your L5 icon and choose 'Open File Location'. In the folder that opens, double-click to open the folder called 'Documents'. Now you'll see a .dzu folder with a random name. Double-click it to open it. You should see your VisualMarkup folder somewhere near the bottom of the list. You can type a new name (the Logos tech renamed mine 'VisualMarkup-1'. Close Logos 5 and re-start it. It should re-create this folder (you'll now see the new one as well as your re-named one).]
