Delay in highlighting after update
Hi
I am experiencing about a 10 second delay when highlighting text on my iPad (V 4.2.0). This is quite annoying as one cannot highlight another passage during this time, nor can one change highlighting options etc. It seems to happen on both downloaded and downloaded titles.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I've got the latest update; highlights fine (responsive).
I will say however, that somewhere back, the app started doing what you're describing. I use a single highlighting file, which I thought might be rather large. The dalay occurs between the highlight (overtop the text) and the re-draw (text overtop the highlight).
Anyway to cut to the chase, I found that re-starting the app clears up the delay (which again happened a few days back). It'll be fine for me for a while and then again start the delay. I'd suspect there's an issue that's not easily reproduced consistently.

Hi Paul,
What Denise described has been my experience too (restarting the app). Hope it helps you too.

Unfortunately restarting the app didn't help. It actually did come right for a while, but the error returned soon after. Restarting the iPad did not help either. I have created a Notes Document for my current assignment, and so far have only used it for highlighting two books in my library. I will login from my pc and see if I can get some stats on the highlights and notes in the document.
Strange though...

Just for comparison ..
I have a hair over 6000 entries (typically shorties eg 'Eusebius admitted to making the whole account up, though some scholars believe he exagerated.)
6000's a fairly peanut-y file though it's been a hard 5 year slog ... I had to drag my finger almost 4 times per day!

I have managed to get rid of the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the Logos app. (The amount of notes in the document were far less than the 6000 mentioned here, so it could not have been that anyway).
Tx tx for all the advice and comments.
