How do I get the customize link to show on the home page. also the Show home page at startup, they both are missing.

From the photograph you took, you seem to have found the customize button. Did that answer your question?
You also asked about having Logos start up at the home page. Since that is the default behavior, are you looking to change it, or did you already change it and are looking to reverse the change?
"Customize" is what that link was called in Logos 4. They changed it to a gear icon in Logos 5, but it's got basically the same functionality.
However they also removed the "Show home page at startup" from that menu and moved control over that to "Tools > Program Settings":
Select "Home" in the "At Startup Open to" dropdown menu to open to the Home page at startup. Otherwise select one of the other options. "Blank layout" opens to a blank layout. "Most recent layout" has two variations. If you pick "any" it will open to the most recent layout you were using on any of your computers (they all sync to the cloud). If you pick "local" it will open to the most recent layout you were using on this computer.
Thanks Rosie. [:)] I would not have been able to explain how to get to program settings on windows. It is in a standard, OS specific location on Mac.
