BUG: multi-columned text not doing well in resized windows

The first example is text set to columns: 1 and a 2-tiles layout:

The second example is text set at columns: 1 and 1 tile layout:

The third example is text set at columns: None and a 1 Tile layout:

"None" for columns and 2 Tiles layout is fine too. So the problem is when the text is set to something else than "None".

This is working as designed. The code attempts to determine if the text can fit into the requested column configuration. If it can't (because it can't wrap text) it determines what column layout would best "fit" and uses that instead.

In cases like this, it can appear buggy, but it does in fact try to fit into the selected # of columns and then adjusts accordingly if that doesn't work.

No! Because it all depends on the particular resource as how its columned text will appear when you force a configuration.

This resource is 2 cols in a 2 tile layout, but col spacing is better in a 1 tile layout. However, it is more natural when set to 1 col. and looks best in a 2 or 2+1/3 tile layout!
