Missing books on my desktop mac

Hi,

I have a laptop which reports 2081 books in logos but my desktop only reports 2068. Both are running latest logos and have done all updates as far as I can push by typing 'update now' in the command box.

The missing books are hard to pin down but one such is

Beale, G. K., & Carson, D. A. (2007). Commentary on the New Testament use of the Old Testament. Grand Rapids, MI; Nottingham, UK: Baker Academic; Apollos.

If I open a layout on my desktop with that resource open I am told I don't have a license for it, which I certainly do as I bought it individually. I don't know which the other 12 missing books are but I would like to have access to them on my desktop.

Any advice?

Set use internet and download updates automatically to yes, then type the command:
update resources

thanks - didn't help.

I should add that the missing books are not my latest purchases, I have plenty other books which do show up which are newer.

Any more ideas?

I have no explanation for Beale... But remember that personal books don't sync, so that could be one cause for the descrepency.

The missing books are hard to pin down

Are you able to create a bibliography of your entire library on both computers (Documents -> Bibliography -> Add -> A collection -> Entire Library) and export them to documents and then compare the documents?

That should tie down the differences and might help understand a bit more what is going on

A good file comparison program would easily show the differences, but you can try to retrieve the missing ones by copying the laptop resources folder to a removable drive (or sharing it over your LAN), typing scan drive:\resource_folder in the Command box of the desktop Logos, and then restarting it i.e. type the path to the resources folder after the scan command.
