Verse of the Day is no longer changing

Greetings,

I've looked around and didn't see any posts addressing my issue, so I apologize if this is redundant. I have a couple questions:

1. I have Verse of the Day installed on my Win 8.1 machine, but the verse hasn't changed in the Lock Screen for several days. Can I fix this?

(One of the things I tried is reinstalling it, but I cannot uninstall it since it doesn't show up in the list in "Programs and Features", but I cannot install it since it shows up as having been installed in the App Store.)

2. While I'm at it, is there any other place the verse of the day is supposed to show up other than the Lock Screen?

I have to manually change mine as well.

They've run me through the repair flow chart, but it didn't fix it.

I still have the picture of the stone with 7 eyes.
