Attaching - SOMETHING - To Reading Plans or - SOMETHING...
But I don't know what SOMETHING IS.
So, I'm kind of fishing here. As a pastor I want to be able to give our people a monthly - or sermon series length - discipleship plan. If I wanted to be physically fit I'd have a personal trainer with a plan. As a pastor I want our people to be fit for godliness.
I've come up with a solid five point plan that we're calling: FIVE Points. The five points are Bible intake, Gospel-centered prayer, service, community, and reading. Each month we have plans to give tips on each of these areas and recommended reading. For example, for Bible intake we want to give a monthly tip on how to better read, study, memorize, etc. We'll also announce themes to watch in their own personal reading. And we'll offer an assigned reading plan if they want to do that. For reading we recommending specific blog posts, chapters, and even a monthly book.
The only trouble is the delivery system. Our biggest concern is use. We want this to be carried with people everywhere they go. We want it to be simple - but not just checkboxes. We want it to be before them so the'll remember.
It seems like print would be the best - but that'll get expensive (120 person church).
An app would be great - but I don't know how to do that.
Then I was thinning about Logos coupled with Faithlife.
We've created our own reading plans. I love the fact the reading plan actually shows up in the Bible text as well as the home screen. I love that you can tap the READ NEXT button and the reading is check off.
So, someone help me to be creative. What's the best way to get this out?

Hi Jamie,
You can create reading plans that are shared to a specific Faithlife group. This article on Reading Plans discusses that: https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/reading-plans
