Android - Text Comparison - How do I "Quickly" move from verse to verse?

When I'm doing a text comparison I like to read one verse at a time.  However, I have not been able to find a way to easily and quickly move from one verse to the next using a simple screen gesture.  Example   I may want to read John 1:1 first in text comparison mode then quickly swipe the page to John 1:2 without having to type in the next verse.  Does anyone know how to do this in the Android app?

    This feature isn't present in the mobile apps, but I'll write up an inquiry case for the dev team.
